DESCRIPTION:Green Thumbs Gardening Camps at the Edible Academy for Children Entering Grades 1-6 in the Fall \n  \n  \n Dig in to the summer season! Using the Edible Academy’s campus, including gardens open air pavilions, amphitheater, and classrooms, as well as the NYBG grounds, campers will investigate plant growth and learn all about vegetables. Children will engage in gardening, art and craft projects, exploration of the garden, and investigate sustainability. \n  \n  \n Session 1: June 30– July18 (No Class on 7/4) \n  \n Member $1,325 | Non-Member $1,470 \n  \n  \n Session 2: July 28 – August 15 \n  \n Member $1,420 | Non-Member $1,575 \n  \n  \n *Early drop-off (8 a.m.), late pickup (5 p.m.), and extended pickup (until 6 p.m.) available on a weekly basis. Pre-registration is required. Weekly fees: $75 per morning or afternoon, and $150 for extended pickup. Late fees apply if children are picked up after their designated checkout time. \n  \n  \n Program will run mostly outdoors, but the need for classroom space is necessary in the event of unsafe weather, such as thunderstorms or extreme heat. \n  \n  \n If the session you are interested in is sold out, you may proceed below to add your camper to the Waitlist. You will not be charged until you are called off the Waitlist. \n
